We are proud to announce that our Purely Concentrate was recently named one of the finalists for the 2019 Good Food Awards.
The Good Food Foundation has the mission to connect crafters and communities, who dedicate their passion and time to creating environmentally friendly and socially responsible food and drinks.
The Good Food Awards are meant to recognize outstanding products that meet the foundation's high standards regarding taste, flavor, and the environment. Additionally, the Good Food Foundation puts a special emphasis on transparent supply chain management.
The annual awards are given to nearly 200 winners after vetting and testing the more than 2,000 entries from 40 different states. On January 11, the winners will be announced in a classic awards ceremony in San Francisco. The event will be followed by a mercantile that connects vendors and retailers who value local, handcrafted products. While the mercantile on January 12 is an industry-only event, the public will get the chance to try the winning products and meet the entrepreneurs behind each brand. On Sunday January 13, there will be a public market in San Francisco. You can attend the event and taste the award winning goods yourself - tickets are only $5.00 per person.
For a company as ours, a small local productions that handcrafts each individual item, it is a great honor and valuable recognition of our hard work to be named a finalist. Purely Ginger Pear made it through a round of blind testing as well as a round of extensive evaluation, regarding our product quality, transparency, and environmental impact.
